guitarist and songwriter seeks collaborators

About Me

Guitarist from the age of eight. Grew up in a musical house with parents who loved Irish folk music and American Country and Western. So gestated to the sounds of Johnny Cash and the Chieftains. My musical formative years were the late 70's and 80's. Loved Punk but hardly listen to it these days. I have played in many different kinds of ensembles. For the last few years I have concentrated on writing in partnership with three vocalists, and my demo track features bits from songs written with the artistes Linda Mathews and Jacqui Clarke. Recently, I have played showcase gigs at Ryans N16, the Playrooms, the Lions Den, Viva Viva, and Chats Palace. I am a versatile and original guitarist and my sound is made distinct by working in a special open tuning. Now I am seeking a professional, original band or recording artist to work with. I am happy to be supportive to someone who wants to enhance their sound with another guitar, or ideally someone who wants to write original, sophisticated, imaginative, touching, subtle songs.I have recently joined, so I dont have many friends yet. Please say hello, especially if you hear some promise in the compilation track and want to discuss working together.
