Torn Perfection

TP is looking for a serious voice and guitarist!

About Me

Torn Perfection started out as a 3 man jam session, 3 years ago, as a break from worship team duties at First Assembly of God, Hamburg, PA and has grown into a rockin' 5 pc band that since playing their first 2 songs live, at a church talent show has performed almost every weekend, sometimes as many as 3 shows a week! Since peforming those first 2 songs, the band has experienced a whirl wind, asked to do shows that most freshmen only dream of. Big accomplishments include: Helping to raise 15,000.00 for a benefit concert called Cody Fest, performing to 10,000 plus at the Hamburg King Frost Parade, doing an un-announced, un-advertised Sunday night show at The Crocodile Rock Cafe (a House of Blues venue), and drawing so many that they were invited back for their own headline show! The guys have opened for ALESANA, STAPLE (twice, the second time as co-headliner), FAMILY FORCE 5, HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW, SOUND THE ALARM, SHADE UNDER FIVE, LAST TUESDAY (twice), DISCIPLE (twice!), DOWN TO EARTH APPROACH, THE WEDDING, RUN KID RUN, and FRESHMEN 15. They have also shared the stage with SPOKEN, SULLIVAN, THE NEW ENDING, THE CLASSIC CRIME, POOR MAN'S RICHES, WITH A KISS, REDFLECKS, SEVENTH SEAL, KRONICLES, SLINGSHOT 57, DOUBLEDGE, KURIOS, BRETT SCALLION'S THE X'S, and FOSTER CHILD. Torn Perfection has been asked to provide support for: ALESANA (a second time), BENEATH THE SKY, MY HERO IS ME, THE HOTTNESS, FIFTY CALIBRE KISS, CHASING DAYBREAK, CHERRYFIX, AFTER THE TRAGEDY, THE NEW ENDING, SPITALFIELD, THE DRAMA CLUB, THE AUDITION, HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS, VALENCIA, GREELEY EASTATES, and NEW ATLANTIC! Bands from all over the USA have contacted the guys to join them when their tours pass through the area, and they recently had the oportunity to step in for Gretchen on a date for the ASPHALT ASSAULT TOUR, making such an impact on the area kids that the promoter immediately invited them back for their own headline show! Tom Taylor, manager of Croc Rock, Allentown, PA calls Torn Perfection, "a band with national potential!" The guys hold 3rd on the all time list of local band ticket sales at Croc Rock, and have been offered 8 national openers over the past 6 weeks alone. Their show is wild, full of action, and if there is a stage to jump off of, the guys will be playing guitar right next to you in the crowd, and josh will be trying to get the pit started! With all of this, their main goal is to reach the lost youth of their generation with the messeage of the saving power of Jesus Christ, a message that is not compromised whether the venue is Christian or secular! Grant Beachy, formerly of Staple, produced the guys first pro release, a 5 song EP entitled, Less Than Perfect.
