About Me

HELLO TO YOU. I am The Reverend En Fuego, from the BJ Shea Morning Experience ( www.kisw.com ) on KISW in Seattle. I am an actual ordained minister (albeit from the internet). While I am able to do all of the great things that ministers can do (except for perform circumcision), I don't. The great irony is that I am in fact Athiest! Maybe agnostic. Whatever.

My best friend has heard this before, but screw globalization. Yes, it's ironic that I am posting this on the internet, but the world is full of ironies. Who cares what happens to people half a world away? Who cares what happens to people 200 miles away. What they do should not, and usually doesn't, affect me.

In our haste to learn and know everything about the world, we have shunned those who live closest to us. Those of us in our own communities. We are all urban hermits. We're strangers to the people we should know, the people who affect us the most (whether we like it or not).

Go out today. Say hello to a neighbor. Introduce yourself. Don't be a couch lizard, sitting in your womb of an apartment, basking in the warm afterglow of your computers, your televisions, your microwave dinners. Doesn't take much. Those people you befriend might be able to help you down the road when you need it.

Community is the key. Not globalization.

My Interests

Texas Hold'em, computer crap, games, television (to a minimal extent), movies, music (mucho!), radio... kissing frogs... cuz im weird like that... BBBBWWWAAATTTTTTTTTT

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is into creative thinking, music, radio. Creativity is about towing the line, pushing boundries and exposing oneself to things that others might shun. Are you that kind of person? Talk to me!

Oh yeah, zombies too. If you're a zombie, lemme know. I wanna pick your brain. HAHA GET IT!?

.. Zombie-American Chapter One on FunnyOrDie.com ..And now, for some Vern Fonk Commercials... DANCE!

Music:

Too many bands, so if you wanna see what I listen to, click Here to see my AudioScrobbler Profile . Basically, what it does is attach to whatever you use to play crap, and it shows everyone who looks! AMAZING! Make your own!

Mostly I like to listen to more off the wall stuff. Lots of J-music lately, etc. You have to impress me with your musicianship, and not just be able to play the same shit over and over... if I wanna hear that, I'll turn on the radio, cuz a million other bands are doin it, and doin it better than you!

I also listen to streaming trance (mostly Goa Psy) on digitallyimported!

Movies:

Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Suicide Kings, Pulp Fiction, William Shakespear's Romeo + Juliet (the Baz Luhrman one), Identity, Matrix movies, LOTR, Elephant, Momento, Snatch, Die Hard (All 3!), most of Kubrick's work, May, Underworld (both), Final Destination 1/2, Way of the Gun, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill 1/2. Many more to list!

Obscure Movie Quote:
"Karma is justice without the satisfaction. I don't believe in justice." James Caan, Way of the Gun

Television:

Heroes, Life, The Shield, South Park, Family Guy, Scrubs, Deal or no Deal, etc

Books:

Diary, Invisible Monsters, Lullaby, Fight Club, Choke, Wheel of Time Series, Hannibal, American Psycho (I tried reading B.E.E.'s other works, but god, I can't stand reading books where I completely and utterly dispise the main character. Not for being a dick, but for being so completely vapid. Glamorama drove me nuts!)

Heroes:

The dead are my heroes, for they are not living.

Unless they are zombies and topshelf in a speedo....then I have to KILL THEM WITH FIRE

My Blog

World of Warcraft!

Do you play World of Warcraft? OH MY GOD ME TOO! You may have noticed my character pics in my pictures folder (so awesomely titled, World of Warcraft). Well, a friend of mine has created a guild ...

The Men's Room does Bad Joke Friday, and I am totally going to infringe on their trademark, and do Bad Joke Blog. This blog is set up so everyone can see it, and everyone can comment. The catch? If it...

I'm feelin' pretty deep.

If you listen to the words in your head, the only person you have to answer to is yourself. I'm keepin that one. Thought it all up on my own.
