Can I have a profile without witty personal revelations?Ok, fine, here's one: One of the best nights in my life was the night that I randomly decided to go to the beach with a couple of my friends at around midnight. What should have been a two-hour journey to the Carolina coast, took us about six hours, since we kept getting lost. At pretty much every wrong turn we took, my friend Stavros said the following line: "And now, there will be a dead end with hooded people carrying torches..." And each time I screamed at him to OMIGOD STOP IT.
We finally made it to this island that reminded me way too much of Dr. Moreau at first glance, until I realized that I was just tired and seeing things. We sat on the beach and smoked, and watched the sun go up, and I freestyled in Russian. Yes, that would be freestyle rap. I am admitting this. Yes.
We crashed at this kid's house and I slept in the downstairs bedroom next to a girl named Julie, whom I miss these days. And at lunch-time, we drove home. It was early autumn, and I listened to Orbital on my iPod, and knew that I was falling in love.
Hmm. That was not witty. But it was personal. Perhaps I will replace it with something more worthwhile, when I can think properly about summarizing my entire existence in a few paragraphs.
