About Me

the boring but semi-important stuff. I was/am a military brat. i was born in Ipswich, England, moved around a good amount, then spent 7 years (90-97, 2nd to 9th grade) in Panama City, FL (Tyndall AFB), then 4 years (97-01) in New Jersey (McGuire AFB) where i graduated then came to college at the University of Miami (GO CANES!) and graduated in 2005 with a mechanical/aerospace engineering degree. I started working for Florida Power and Light (FPL) in July of 05 and am a Nuclear Systems Operator. i have a dog, merlin, who is 3 years old now. I watch tons of movies, and a little bit of TV. Normally I go to bed at random hours throughout the weeks because of a rotating schedule, and it isn't AS bad as it sounds. Feel free to message me or whatever, i'm usually nice :)

Music:

wow. um just about everything. i listen to rock (include hard, metal, punk, ska, emo), rap (include hip hop, dirty south, booty, bass), r&b, techno/electronica, oldies, classical, even the occasional bit of country. if it has a good beat, i can usually get into it.

Movies:

this is just as bad as music...i love movies. i own a ton. i go see just as many or more in the theatre. currently obsessed with harry potter. i love a good action, horror, scary, love, comedy, fantasy, sci-fi...it's all good. movies are like tv shows really, with better plots, better actors, better funding, etc...which explains why i see more movies than tv shows.

Television:

finally a short and easy one. college football!! south park, how i met your mother, boondocks, heroes, big bang theory.

Books:

Harry Potter series, vampire chronicles by Anne Rice, all of the Dan Brown books, and i've recently gotten into Tom Clancy's stuff
