I am a chef who has created entrees and desserts for Nascar Nationwide Series drivers and team owners. I have also created dishes for Cup drivers,Crew cheifs and Team owners.
I have cooked at many race tracks around the country.I have the proud honor to be the 2004 Nascar Crew Chef Challenge Champion. I won that honor on July 30 2004 at Pocono Raceway.
Its also interesting that I represented the Bush Series at the contest.The Busch Series does not race at Pocono. Chalk one up for the little guys.!!!!!!!
After that it was all Nextel Cup. I met a lot of great people and had a lot of fun. Believe me, it is awesome to watch the cup guys from pit road,or hang out in the motor coach lot.It was also cool to have my name on a racecar durring a Busch Race ar Darlington, The #39 Yahoo car driven By Andy Ponstien at the last spring race at Darlington.Actually what we thought would be the last race at all at that time.Now you have to go on Mothers day to the only race at Darlington.Gotta thank a few people,Scott Riggs,good friends, Jay Robinson, Elaine Hughes,Stacy,Andy Mark, Steve, Derrike,and anyone whoever worked on those race carsI also have 7 gold medals from International Culinary Contest, But what I enjoy best in the whole world is being a parent. I have taken time off to be with my daughter.And yes I still work.Gotta do that to survive.It was also an honor to be in Racing Milestones Magazine,The Richmond Times Union,All those newspapers in Pa.And all the newapapers around the world.
