Shameless Transmission is a multimedia showcase, featuring music (from bands and djs), short films and visual arts. The idea stemmed from a lack of a short film scene and outlet for local filmmakers to showcase their material. We like the idea that in the space of a minute an individual can rock out to good music and watch a short film in creative surroundings. We ultimately wish to establish a banner that will encompass and represent the vibrant and varied cultural goings on of Glasgow and surrounding areas.Another aspect is that we hope to become a networking centre for the grassroots creative industries. We hope that musicians, photographers, designers, film makers, etc will become more aware of the talents around them and that cross-medium collaborative projects will blossom as a result.We are aways on the lookout for film shorts, artists and bands.
