"Eclipse" This song was on my first record, Folding Stars in a different version. I still play it at solo shows all these years later, and a few years ago I recorded a bunch of acoustic tracks with my friends Andy Hollander and Bob Smith in NYC, and spontaneously came up with this reinvention of the song. Andy plays the amazingly spooky piano.
"Morning Glories" (acoustic version) - In an effort to post some more unreleased stuff, I’ve added this version of "Morning Glories" - it was recorded in NYC with Byron Isaacs and Lee Feldman as part of a record I made called "Ballads and Breakdowns." Even though I really like the album, it has yet to see the light of day. But here’s a little taste of it.
"Don’t Believe It" (demo version) - A new one recorded the day after I wrote it. Brandau’s drumming and playing Rhodes bass.
