WASH MY BONES
HIDDEN INTENTIONS
oneSHOTsuicide Timeline:
Winter 2005 - Morbius founder/guitarist Jason Carter formed the band under the name Torn Between Anarchy together with fellow Morbius member/bassist Judd Raithel.
February 2006 – Bryan Strahan from Kings of Today was called in to play drums. And after many auditions to fill in the vocals, Carter calls a friend, Jason Renter vocalist/drummer of Liquid Conscience.
March 2006 – Renter got hired. The band went right away writing very hard to write enough material for their debut show only a month away. More fitting, they decided to change their name from Torn Between Anarchy to Ending in Chaos.
Summer/Fall 2006 – The band would go on to play countless shows; even getting an opening spot for Non Point at The Fat Cat Music House and Lounge in Modesto, CA. However, this wouldn’t last long since the band had to suffer from lack of practice due to the vocalist’s schedule.
September 2006 – Carter, Raithel, and Strahan decided it is time for the band to go on in a different direction- a heavier, relentless form of metal.
Mid-September 2006 – After much discussion, a change of vocalist was the key. Bringing in Mike Manuel, former of metal band, Eye Wil, the missing link was filled in. Not stopping there, one more element was needed to make the sound whole and sonically perfect: a second guitarist. Fortunately, not having to look far, Paolo de la Cruz from the now defunct 1D-LSD completes the line up. The band is renamed oneSHOTsuicide.
October 28th 2006 – the band made a debut at The Rusty Hook in Manteca, CA.
December 2006 – the single track demo One Shot Suicide was released. The band went on a binge of doing shows and writing new material for their set.
Spring 2007 – due to conflicts, Strahan had to be let go and the band suffered a 2-month hiatus while still auditioning a new drummer.
Mid-June 2007 – Timmy Holland from Dancing for a Fix was named new drummer for OSS.
July 2007 – oneSHOTsuicide signed a yearlong contract with A&R Select, a promotions & marketing company based in North Hollywood, CA. Their debut album, “Redemption†is currently under plans. The band is also booked for a Halloween show at the legendary Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood, CA.
October 2007 - due to similar conflicts plus more happened in Spring 2007, Manuel had to be let go, 2 days before the voluminous Whisky a Go Go show; on the night of the band's first anniversary.
October 31st 2007 - the show must go on at the Sunset Strip seeing, for the first time, Raithel in bass/vocals and de la Cruz on backing vocals.
November 2007 - Bryan Darby from Captive8 was named new vocalist for the band. Also named was Andy Bennett as band manager and photographer.
December 22nd 2007 - oneSHOTsuicide debuts Darby. A 3-song acoustic set was also performed in the middle of the set to showcase the vocalist's capabilities.
