Growing up, Franky was mostly around jazz, classical, and old school 60's, 70's, and 80's soul/funk/etc. spun in the record player by his mother, father, and aunties. If it had been Hip Hop and R&B all day and everyday and nothing else, it may be that Franky would lack the appreciation and the ear that he has for the root of it all. The REAL music that today's Hip Hop and R&B borrows from. He probably would lack appreciation for music culture as a whole.

Franky had no idea that he had "soul". He'd only begun this journey a few years ago and landed a songwriter publishing deal as a result of a song that he'd produced and written for a talented local R&B artist.

Thanks to Hakeem Khaaliq, CEO and founder of Radio Bums Music, Franky has had the opportunity of working on major projects for MTV, MGM, and with great artists in the music industry such as R&B Superstar - Tank, Legendary Westcoast Rapper - Kam, Shorty of Dalench Mob, WC, Tassho Pearce, Evidence of Diolated Peoples, DJ Qbert, and more.

Now, FRANKY FADE is venturing the life of being an R&B artist. Although he loves to sing, entertain and perform, this is yet another route that he has the opportunity to take in order to get his music and abilities heard by as many as possible.
