Band Members: The music on my site, is the work I have been doing with the Jackson Wetherbee. I have been producing and engineering the recordings in my studio and play lead guitar on the tracks. Influences: As a guitarist, I grew up listening to the great classic rockers like Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Dave Gilmour, Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Page. My musical love is broad and my song writing influences stretch from the classsic rock to Cure, Fixx, Soundgarden, Zeplin, to Outkast, Prince, Bob Marley, Coldplay, Sublime and Foo Fighters. Not your typical blend of music, but that is what I love, music from across the spectrum.I like to think that other things have influenced my musical taste, and starting as a baby, my mom would play me folk music from Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and James Taylor. I think these deep routed sounds have lead me to working with Jackson Wetherbee because his music calls back to these folk legends, blended with an urgency that taps into my bluesy roots as well as my love of funk and dance grooves.As an engineer/producer, my biggest influence would be Brendan O'Brien, Daniel Lanious, and Bob Rock. I love the process of breaking down music, and then building it back up. In my studio, everything is always set up and mic'd up so no matter what you are doing, we can always jump right back to recording if a new idea needs to be laid down. I am always thankful for the ears my parents gave me and for how they nurtured my musical development.
