lucertulas

Lucertulas is a band born in 2003 by a mix of three different personalities and musical backgrounds. Their first work -recorded in march 2004- “HOMO VOLANS” (8mm records) is the expression of this particulas mixture: the fury of post-core is fixed together with noise and psychedelic attitudes. In this record there’s also a strong use of improvisation: every song could be played in lots of different ways, in this period in fact lucertulas live shows were very different from each other. After two tours, the first in France with g.i. joe and the second in Germany with wounded head (from L.A.) the band changed line up. Crisafi Sandro (voice and guitar bass) left the band to dedicate himself to visual art, performances and soloist projects of contemporary music. The rest of the band met Aggio Federico and started a period of changes: the name superlucertulas changed in lucertulas and the sound also become more definite and rocky. The influences of noise and psycadelic music are still existing but in a limited and more organized way. In April 2007 Lucertulas recorded TRAGOL DE ROVA their second work that will be out on october 2007 for ROBOTRADIOrecords. After recording this second album Daniele De Vecchi leaves the band and the new drummer Massimo Cettolin introduces a new kind of power especially in live shows.
