About Me

..
Today the Black community is suffering greatly. So many young lives are being taken on the streets and so many others lost in a fantasy world ruled by money, sex, drugs, and ignorance. Our community is in great need of an awakening, the kind of awakening this nation hasn't seen since the 1960's and 1970's. Following the passing away of some our greatest African-American leaders, and the devistating "crack epidemic" in the late 1980's we are left now to rediscover our identity as a people outside of materialsm and sterotypes. The minimal success we've experienced in the entertainment industry is only a small portion of the Black community; and the larger number of black youth incarcerated, or dead shows a need to re-evaulate or goals as a people. We will explore some of the many issues plaguing and destroying our communities and what steps we can take to build up our people once again. Questions
