Creatures Of Habit

About Me

Playing songs written from the heart, through honest musicianship and a voice which combines intimate fragility with sincerity and warmth, Creatures Of Habit is the result of 2 friends finding inspiration in the unlikeliest and likeliest of places, usually over a cup of tea.The result is songs of simple imagery, empathy and tunes that make you want to hear it again..... we hope. The songs are written about the everyday things we know - love, horticulture, astronomy, meteorology, paintings, smiles, hair and crisps. Ok, not crisps.Mainly we write on guitar and piano but the piano is a bit hard to get on the tube at times. When Sally's not looking, Gareth tries to sneak in the mandolin, banjo and more recently trumpet, though they are yet to find their way to the live shows! We'd love to know what you think of our songs. Post a comment and let us know, or even better, come along to one of our gigs, clap and cheer a lot then tell us at the end.
