SLAG HEAP has been founded 1996 and tours Germanys.. stages since more than 10 years. From a musical perspective it is clear what the band focusses on: SLAG HEAP..s style can be found somewhere between early Californian Punkrock like Lagwagon or NOFX and established bands like Blink182 or Green Day. Not imitating their great role models, the five guys describe their music as "Finest Punkrock made in Germany" - resulting in fat guitar riffs, ass kicking bass lines, aggressive drums and catchy sing alongs.
Embedded into diversified and sophisitcated arrangements, SLAG HEAP..s sound emerges in melodic mid-tempo songs, fancy breaks and powerful high-speed sections. English lyrics that have been taken right out of the musicians.. lifes prove a sharp view of our reality.
So far, 5 albums have been produced, many shows have been played, radio- and TV-appearences have been arranged.
