About Me

I'm a .NET software developer. A complete geek to the core, and proud of it! Faieries are my fascination, if you haven't guessed. I wish that I were one, but I don't know that I could choose what kind of faierie to be - something mysterious, beautiful and kind. I have two wonderful boys, Drake and Preston.

If you send me a friend request, and I don't know you, I'm probably going to ignore you. If you send me a message, and I find you interesting, I might reply.

I have recently taken an interest in politics. I think that politics is a little like religion, in that I have my own views, but I respect that other people won't always agree with me. But, I also think that if the American populace was a little more informed, that our political atmosphere would be a lot different.

My Interests

Barack Obama '08, Computers, gaming, reading, camping, pool, sleeping till noon, movies, my Jeep Wrangler, my two boys, learning anything new, Texas, all things French, some things Canadian, wine, martinis

I'd like to meet:

Supporters of Barack Obama, who is going to be our next president! If you're adding me as a friend based on mutual interest in Obama, please send me a note indicating such. I normally do not add friends that I don't know, but I do make an exception for friends of Obama.

Friends, especially geeks or fellow fae lovers. And by "geek" I do not mean socially inept nerd. A geek is a highly intelligent, or at least intelligent, person with a fascination for computers, sci-fi, gaming or some other hobby to a point where they have become an expert. But at the bare minimum, the difference between a geek and a nerd is fashion sense. Clean clothes are good, too.

I would also like to meet people who have something interesting to say. As a matter of fact, it doesn't matter whether you are a fellow geek, or know what fae are, if you have something intelligent to say. But, for the rest of you that send friend requests without reading any of this - at least I have something to laugh at!
