Where a Heart Meets the Hilt of the Sword

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Basics. Skinny, pale, faded blue eyes. I like weird music and movies. I read a lot. I don't like the sun much or the morning hours. I used to do a lot of drugs. Now i just smoke cigarettes. I'm a self-deprecating cynical bastard and I'm content with that. I do not possess a college degree and i have no impressive skills to parade around. Ah yes the comforting obscurity of mediocrity.

My Interests

I like movies. Anime, independent, action, horror, sci-fi/fantasy. There is a list below of what I like. I like going to the movies. I like even more going to movies baked. I don't like paying 9 beans to see them though so i usually see more then one movie at times. which is to say yes...i sneak into movies. A real rebel. I like those idiotic chemically fueled conversations at 2 in the morning chain smoking ciggarettes chattering away at such topics as how and why and what, more or less intellectually masturbating as drunken/stoned/tripping/smashed friends put in their 2 cents about life and all that revolves around it. Recently I have found I enjoy sake. I like fireworks too. Bottlerockets and roman candles and heh heh heh m-80's always make for a good time. Slip and slides are good but crocodile mile is better.

I'd like to meet:

OK this is by far the part of the profile that is always the lamest and hardest to fill out. Do I list heroes? Real living or dead? Do fictitious characters count? Do i spit out a criteria for which those interested in dating need to meet or aspire to? Nope. Its all bullshit and none of it really matters when choosing friends, lovers or whatever else may have you. So there you go...yes there are some famous and not so famous people that exist that I would like to meet. Maybe you care. Yes I do have an stylized pre-conceived notion of what my qoute "ideal" mate would and should be. No i am not going to list it. and as for your other question..no yes no no and it depends on the liqour.

Music:

modest mouse, radiohead, kid koala, venetian snares, hrvatski, aphex twin, squarepusher, bjork, the strokes, trail of dead, converge, you and I, the postal service, the velvet underground, the doors, Link Wray, coalesce, saetia, the liars, denali, the white stripes,(M)U-ziQ, garage rock, screamo, emo, hardcore, jam bands with finesse..experimental rock, elctronic stuff. hard drum/drill n bass, break core and some prefuse 73, yo la tengo, spoon, elliot smith, ugly cassanova, old sunny day real estate, Cap n Jazz, drive like jehu, turing machine, massive attack, neutral milk hotel, hendrix, the who, interpol, joy division, Primus, Mirza, Unwound, some Icarus Line, Jega, engine down, deathcab for cutie, portishead, DJ Hekla, Doormouse, a lot of Planet Mu label stuff,Wolfmother, and I like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs even though they play them on the radio...and that hurts....cause it hurt hearing Modest Mouse in a toyota ad, it was OK in a miller genuine draft ad...cause hey....free beer for a band I understand...Not fucking toyota though, also Patrick Suler and the House of Leaves is a pretty wicked band from what I've heard...so you should check em out.
