The Crowns are a power trio band from Coon Rapids, a northern suburb of Minneapolis. Their musical influences include but are not limited to, The Who, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Band, ACDC, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Queen, Rush, Ten Years After, Jet, and Wolfmother. The music is powerful and to the point, consisting of Ryan Beam on the drums, Andy Pederson on lead vocals and bass, and Joe Saefke on guitar. The first full length album was just finished up in the studio last March and should be available for purchase in the upcoming weeks. The album consists of a wide variety of song types from hard rocking to mellow piano. Currently the band is working on getting dates booked for this summer as well as working on getting a tour setup.
