"Rock and roll was what our fathers did". "So we figured what the hell".TroubleMan formed in 2001, I think, but dont quote me, from 2 different bands in the lovely neighborhood of Redford, Mi. The Shades(Nathan Detroit, Fish & Timmy Tann) and Mental Health(D & Sean O'Lucky). Mixing the remaining members of these 2 acts, with a little chaos, dysfunction & bitching, TroubleMan was spawn. These guys just wanted to play rock&roll......and thats what they did. Releasing their self titled-debut album in 2002, T-Man set the mission to play anywhere, anytime and anyplace. Playing for the chairs at The Old Miami on Cass ave to rockin their way to packed houses across Southern Mi, T-Man had found the basis of a solid, rock&roll entourage. Touring and promoting the album for over a year, the band had attracted more than what they expected......and with that comes.....the blood suckers.(people lookin to cash in) Interviews, packed houses, management, radio shows and all-nighters, T-Man rode the rock&roll roller coaster until mid 2004. With a extremely short break-up, the band regrouped, dropped management and decided to follow up their debut with "The Last Show". The album was written, recorded and pressed in under 3 months. The release show,at Alvin's in late 2004, was booked before recording even started.(was a hell of a party, I must say).
After a short amount of touring/promoting of their sophomore album, the band called it quits in 2005.
You can catch TroubleMan playing an occasional show here and there, so KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TroubleMan combined the elements that make rock&roll FUN!!! Raw vocals, dirty guitars and lots of attitude. Walking away from a T-Man show you should remember one thing after all the booze, sweaty bodies and blasting music................
