Kay and Adrenalin Rush Generation
BAND MEMBERS:
Kay Energy is the lead singer of K+A.R.G., an East London resident originally from Portugal, sings in English and Portuguese. Kay has a background of singing in gospel choirs in both countries.
Adrenalin Rush Generation A.K.A. Mr Generation is the producer and Mc of K+A.R.G..Mr Generation, also an East London resident, has been composing for over a decade and currently is breaking out and making the music public.
Guest Artists:
Mighty Moses an american rapper featured on K+A.R.G.’s tracks. A well appreciated addition to the K+A.R.G. vibe.
Lil’ Ana also makes guest apperances with various vocal samples.
BAND HISTORY:
K+A.R.G. is a relatively new band, Kay Energy and Mr. Generation joining forces to form the band a year ago. Kay ventured into singing to dance music for the first time and Mr. Generation hung up his ‘panic-core’ style drum and bass to create music with a positive flow but an energetic drive to get people’s heads bopping to tunes that are saying something worthwhile.
BAND STYLE:
K+A.R.G.’s principal music style is progressive dance, including hiphop, electro and drum and bass, with an ‘oldskool’ slant from the 80s and early 90s. Generally, their performance consists of them singing to a their own backing tracks.
BAND DIRECTION:
Currently building a following on the internet, and working on an album, K+A.R.G. have delved into the world of live performance, doing their first gig at the Dagenham Town Show (July 2006).
This is early days for K+A.R.G. They have had good responses from those who have heard them and they plan to perform at venues all around East London and the West End. They hope to go on to make a big impact on the music scene!
