About Me

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." - Rumi;Uhmm, not quite sure how to begin. I don't sleep much, and when I don't sleep, I paint. Some of my stuff can be seen @ Steveland.com when it gets up and running. I work at a board and care for people with mental health issues and I spend most of my time rehabilitating paranoid schizophenics and schizo-effectives to the point where they can take care of themselves; or at least try not to burn the building down. I've done a number of interesting things this year, and plan on doing a lot more; like making Tequila, roadtripping, and continuing to produce bad artwork for good people.

But when worst-comes-to-worst, I'll watch Arrested Development, Invador Zim, The Venture Brothers, American Dad, Futurama, Afro Samuri, Family Guy (basically the bulk of 'Adult Swim's lineup). I tried watching the old episodes of 'Voltron' a while back; it just wasn't the same.

Current reading materials include: *Kafka's Selected Stories ('In the Penal Colony' is awsome) * Bonfire of the Vanities * The Art of War * The Canterburry Tales * The Essential Rumi * Bradshaw on the Family * Kingdom of Fear ; still looking for a copy of 'Scagnetti on Scagnetti'

Heroes:

They all did heroin. Some died, some didn't, some should have, and some came back.
