Music is so important to me. It makes life better. It helps you breath, whenever it's hard to breath. It makes you laugh, whenever you want to cry. It makes you happy, whenever you're sad. Songs make you feel so much, that I cannot even explain it. I am a singer/songwriter and have been for the past ten years or so of my life. To me, if you can feel the lyrics you sing, feel each word that pours out of your mouth and emotionally connect with your song ...theres something very special in that. There are times, that it just hurts so much, to sing a song, and thats because I've made it apart of me, I've emotionally connected with it and brought myself to that level. I believe people enjoy watching an artist really give it their all whenever they sing and perform and I honestly try my best to do so. It's always hard, and very much so a challenge whenever you've grown up kind of shy and quiet like myself, but performing in front of people always feels right and I'm not even sure why. There is a great power in singing a single brilliantly written line, that I cannot explain at all why, I just know that it feels great and I love it.
