I read! Anything and everything, although my favourite authors are Orson Scott Card, Terry Pratchett and Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. I know that is an eclectic mix, but I don't limit myself to genres because I have a short attention span. Variety is my bag, baby, yeah!
I started Salsa lessons last year and I found out that I love to dance. Now I am learning how to swing. I am going to go through the whole gamut of dances before embarking on belly dancing and maybe tap. Have to get in serious shape first.
Your Brain's Pattern
Your mind is a firestorm - full of intensity and drama.
Your thoughts may seem scattered to you most of the time...
But they often seem strong and passionate to those around you.
You are a natural influencer. The thoughts you share are very powerful and persuading.
What Pattern Is Your Brain?
This is the point where "like minded individuals" seems to be the right thing to say. But actually, if you are a little different, a little strange or even downright eccentric, as long as you love Jesus, I can talk to you.
Just don't contact me if you are looking for a date, or want to engage in smut talk.
:-)
Hmm.. this is a tough one to answer. I like music, I listen to it, I have a fairly good sense of rhythm and discerning taste. Basically, if I can dance to it, I like! But here are a few of my fave singers/ bands - Sting - U2 - Lighthouse Family - Hariharan - Locally, Murali Krishnan - My uncle Jerry! lol
Best movie of all time - The Fisher King. I have it in video, VCD and DVD. And the script.
Since then, there have been a few more good ones. Must watch top 5 movies are:- Narnia, Kingdom of Heaven, Passion of Christ, American President and The Fisher King.
Ph and of course, the godfather of Asian film, Akira Kurosawa.
CSI totally rocks! has anyone else ever notices that they add a yellow filter to CSI Miami to make it look uncomfortably hot and a blue filter to CSI NY so that it will look dark and ominous? Guess my media degree paid off!
Next on the list would be Judging Amy. I think Tyne Dale is the most underrated actress in the world. Like Cuba Gooding Jr and Don Cheadle, these people don't get the main roles, but they sure make everyone else look really good.
Then Gilmore Girls, Scrubs, Desperate Housewives (my sleaze factor) and Malcolm in the Middle.
My last word on Television is that I love British humour. So The Office, all the Coupling Episodes, Kumars at No 42 and Goodness Gracious Me rated high in my book.
For my American friends who don't know what I am on about, don't worry mates, Otrie will explain it to you. Right Otrie? lol lol
Jesus! Who else?
