Potter Puppet Pals in
"The Mysterious Ticking Noise"
Radiohead (Wolf at the Door off Hail to the Thief is awesome), Pink Floyd, Phil Collins (please stop laughing, he's a guilty pleasure), TOOL (a transcendent concert experience), Fiona Apple (another amazingly powerful live performance), basically any Quentin Tarrantino movie soundtrack, Electric Light Orchestra (Strange Magic turns me to mush), Journey (I'm a sucker for the '80s power ballad), The Last of the Mohicans score (beautiful and powerful...I challenge anyone who says they don't like classical to listen to it), the Braveheart score (Bascially Last of the Mohicans with bagpipes), Dido, Led Zeppellin, The Doors, Garbage (it took a cup of coffee...), A Perfect Circle, Stabbing Westward, Chevelle, System of a Down...
EPIC: Gladiator, Braveheart, Lord of the Rings (all three extended editions), Last of the Mohicans
COMEDY: Dogma, Mallrats, Clerks, Chasing Amy (i love you Kevin Smith)Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Monty Python and the Holy Grail (oh John Cleese...), South Park (what would Brian Boitano do ?!!), Arsenic and Old Lace, Philedelphia Story
ACTION: Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (it's dull you twit it'll hurt more), Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2, Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs (Mcheal Madsen can cut my ear off any day), Jackie Brown, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, X2, Batman (a la Burton) and Batman Begins, Indiana Jones (sans Temple of Doom...which sucked), Star Wars (3,4,5,and 6...1 and 2 went the way of Temple of Doom)
DRAMA: Pride and Prejudice (both the new Kiera Knightley and the BBC miniseries...the rest are dead to me), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lost in Trabslation
DISNEY: Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood, the Little Mermaid, The Parent Trap (back when Lindsey Lohan was adorable instead of a slut), Alladin
HORROR: The Exorcist
CURRENT OBSESSION: VERONICA MARS - I haven't been so enthralled with a show since Buffy went off the air. Please give this amazing show a chance! Netflix the first season...it will not disappoint! Jason Dohring, who plays Logan Echolls, is brilliant (funny, arrogant, evil, tragic - all at the same time)!
PAST LOVES: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (will always be in my top 5 favorite shows of all time), ALIAS (or at least right up until they killed off Vaugn aka Micheal Vartan - damn you Ben Affleck!), Six Feet Under (I don't care if it was pretentious, I was fascinated by the psychological damage), South Park Family Guy and the Simpsons (or the Holy Trinity as I like to call them), The X-Files (Tim, this one's for you)
CURRENT HONORABLE MENTIONS: House (again with my love of arrogant assholes), Entourage (I know I'm not a guy, but I still love that show - and it taught me that Jeremy Piven's name isn't "you know, that guy"), Gilmore Girls (hilarious! and it hits a little close to home...)
Pride and Prejudice (easily my favorite book - I've read and loved all of Jane Austen),
anything Harry Potter (ranked from my favorite to least - 3, 4, 6, 5, 1, 2 - yes I'm that much of a loser...),
Stranger in a Strange Land,
The Fountainhead,
Moll Flanders (I love it when a woman can rationalize having 5 husbands and abandoning at least 7 of her children),
The October Country (Ray Bradbury - contains one of my favorite short stories "Jack in the Box" - brilliant and disturbing),
Cat's Cradle (but really any Vonnegut will do),
Farenheit 451 (!!!!)...
okay, I'm an English major...this could take years...
Now be honest...would it be totally ass kissing to say that you are?
