King Casey Band has a buzz, come catch one too. Late in 2006 a lifetime multi-talented rocker with a deep rooted passion for music formed King Casey. He started as a recording project, playing modern tunes until he discovered the true joy of original music. Gathering his top shelf rocker friends to join in, in doing so he found four of the best musician in Chicago to form the King Casey Band. With strong song writing, dynamic vocals, solid guitar riffs and a hard driving rhythm section, King Casey created pure magic. Now a year and a half later, King Casey has become one of the premier original rock bands in the Chicago area. King Casey Band is from Chicago, together we turn out modern Alternative Acoustic/Heavy Rock, You'll enjoy modern story telling through dynamic orchestration in songs that may feel a bit trippy with layers that drop into today's heavier grooves in the hooks. We have written more than two hours worth of originals, also can bust a couple hours of covers and in live performance we're all seasoned professionals with many years of fun and polishing. We enjoy and use great gear so we have the right sound. We express ourselves and musically we just love what we do! Recently we've opened for some larger acts in Chicago Original Circuit.We have some crazy fans. ROCK ON~Musically, King Casey has a very tight focus, and while the agents have "sold" them as an original act with a sound akin to Incubus crossed with a deep Pink Floyd influence. While you'll hear these influences, King Casey's music also makes you think a little bit of Metallica, Queensryche, Godsmack, Nirvana, and Creed in terms of instrumental execution. Casey's voice reminds me a little of Ty Tabor from King's X, though there are distinct differences.We have CD's, mp3's, websites, myspace, all so you can sample at your leisure.
