About Me

For a young guy, whose life experiences have been for the most part limited geographically to Texas and New Mexico, I feel like I've been a lot of places and seen a lot of shit in my life already. I've tasted the sweet bliss of love in it's truest form and felt the venomous sting of lonliness and rejection. I've seen this world breathe life and I've seen it snuff it out. I've experienced the pride of victory and the humiliation of defeat. I've bellowed the warmest of laughs and shed the coldest of tears. I've climbed to the top of a mountain and rolled back down to the bottom. I've had the same body of water renew my livelihood and almost take my life away. I've been passionately loved and hated by the same person. I've been the hero and I've been the villain. These are the things that have and continue to sculpt my life and make it worthwhile. The good and the bad. After all these years, I'm finally beginning to fully realize that the bad really isn't so bad after all. If there weren't bad things in life, how could we possibly define the good ones? Life is a balance, and I've come to the conclusion that the bad days are a fair price to pay for the good. Grandiose vocabularies are superfluous and garish.

Why waste a ten dollar word when a nickel one will do the job just fine?
