Angelo Glorioso

I can fart like a turtle... or I can fart like an astronaut.

About Me

I'm just another dude in the world, trying to keep to myself without bothering many people and avoiding stepping on other people's feet.

My favorite joke is:
Q: "What did the farmer say when he lost his tractor?" A: "Where's my tractor?"

I believe farting is funny.

If I wasn't a gardener and tax accountant, I'd probably join the Professional Bowling Association. My friends would be my bowling caddies, ensuring me that the wind is not a factor and keeping my beer full and reminding me to do a shot of Jager every game.

I think I'm pretty darn funny.

I should never take a spot in public office, I would ruin your city, state, or country.

The idea of eating babies is hilarious to me. Who's with me?

My Interests

Urban Gardening,

Herbal Medicine,

Trees,

and Native American Philosophy.

I'd like to meet:

My favorite singer/songwriter in the whole world, Donovan Leitch...

Music:

A lot of different "musics" really. If I had to answer the age-old question, "If you were stuck on a deserted island for the rest of your life, what albums would you chose to bring with you?", I'd have to pick my top ten of all-time.
1. Donovan "A Gift From A Flower To A Garden"
2. Sufjan Stevens "Seven Swans"
3. Neutral Milk Hotel "In An Aeroplane Over The Sea"
4. Converge "No Heroes"
5. Akron/Family "Akron/Family"
6. Bonnie 'Prince' Billy "Ease On Down The Road"
7. The Angels Of Light "How I Loved You"
8. The Casket Lottery "Moving Mountains"
9. The Microphones "The Glow Pt. 2"
10. Tom Waits "Bone Machine"

Joanna Newsome "The Sprout And The Bean"

Sufjan Stevens "Casimir Pulaski Day"

Iron & Wine and Calexico "He Lays In The Reigns"

Devendra Banhart "A Sight To Behold"

Neurosis "Under The Surface"

Ed Gein "You Suck At Life...And I'm Not Talking About The Board Game"

Movies:

I'm a big fan of Takashi Miike. I can never go wrong with some good Japanese ultra-violent, absurd films. Notably, I recommend "Ichi The Killer", "Gozu", "Audition", and "Visitor Q". Other than those films, I loved "Battle Royale" and "Oldboy", two more fantastic Japanese thrillers. "Suicide Club" was pretty good too. The mellower side of my taste would recommend "Punch-Drunk Love", "O Brother Where Art Thou?", "Down By Law", and "Harold And Maude". Other than that, I laugh at Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Will Farrell, and Chris Elliot like most people do. Oh yeah, you gotta check out "Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger Pt. 4", it's ridiculously offensive and awesome.

Television:

Basically, I watch whatever happens to be on, but I prefer anything dealing with wilderness survival, cooking, or gardening. The shows I currently get into are "Survivorman", "Man Vs. Wild", "Iron Chef America", "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations", "Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern", "This Old House", "Project Runway" (yes, I admit it), "I Love Money", "Run's House", "Globetrekker", "The Ultimate Fighter", all the cooking reality shows, any MMA fighting shows, Brewers baseball, Bucks basketball, Packers football, and, oh yeah, "Poker After Dark".

Books:

My favorites are all of Michael Pollan's books: "The Botany Of Desire", "Second Nature", "A Place Of My Own", and "The Omnivore's Dilemma". I usually only read books dealing with gardening, survival, and Native American philosophy.

Heroes:

My best friend Josh who passed away almost 5 years ago. RIP my man, you are missed.

My great sister Alissa. She taught me to enjoy the simple things in life and not to take anything for granted.

My entire family.
