Releases are still going strong, with the next outing now out on the Hit Music label (Andy Ford - 18 Hourz).
Though I’m still busy with production, my main drive has been on DJing and remixing live with Ableton. It’s one hell of a transition after 18years of working with vinyl, but the control and versatility are mindblowing - It’s just mad to see the crowd throwing themselves about to tracks as you write them live.
As this seems like as good a section as any for a production & remixing discog, here goes: In no particular order, here’s some of the ones that made it to vinyl...

My Interests

Music:

Band Members:Previous works have been with Rogue Music labelmate and studio co-owner Neil Steedman (4motion), including our two top 40 tracks under the pseudonym "DJ Eric" which sold over a million worldwide. There's also been a mad amount of solo projects & remixes over the years, too.

Recent works are with new partner in crime, Barry Fraser (UberDisko Records) - We've got a real similar taste in music and are both 80's heads - The releases and remixes have led to a spin off label - "Fraiche Musique", which has a few deep and chunky bits and pieces upcoming.

Influences: Where to start?

From the original pioneers such as Derrick May, Larry Heard, Kevin "Reese" Saunderson and DJ Pierre, to Boo Williams, Tim Harper, Louie Vega, K Alexi, Kenny Larkin, Timo Maas, X-Press 2, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Roger Sanchez, Paul Johnson, LTJ Bukem, Spring Heel Jack, Slam, Massive Attack, Zero7, The Bays and "modern" deck pioneers like James Zabiela.

In essence: Those who provide the original funk for us to sample, and those who show how to cut it all up properly...
Sounds Like: The "Barefoot In The Clubhouse" project was compared to Zero 7 and Royksopp, but other productions are far from laid back. MixMag described the Sabres of Paradise outings as "The sound of machines having a nervous breakdown"! - That a good sound?
Record Label: Fraiche Musique, NovaMute, Distinct'ive, Sabres+
