high definition analog and digital recordings!

About Me

The ultraton.Elektrizitaetswerke is a small but ambitious music production complex specializing in high-end audio recordings. Since 1993 our studios are housed within a historic mill in the heart of the beautiful "Rheinhessen" region in south-western germany, directly on the river Nahe. The location is quiet and secluded, situated in the middle of 5000 sqm of idyllic countryside, but still has an optimum connection to local infrastructure (50km to Airport Frankfurt/Main, Hahn, RheinMain area).
In 2004 reconceived and technically totally renovated, we now offer a AMEK Angela II / ProTools HD / AEG M15 A (16- o. 24-track / 2 inch) controlroom, well equipped with a nice collection of high end analog, digital and vintage outboard gear and microphones! In detail: 40 sqm air-conditioned control room, a 50 sqm break- and business area (with broadband network connection, hifi-stereo, dvd, bar), 60 sqm of two different recording spaces with 3 iso boothes and a real live-chamber (RT60: 3s). By the way: our spacious recording room is well known for its excellent acoustics, especially for drum recordings.
Favorable overnight accomodations in the direct vicinity can be organized by arrangement. Creative work in a relaxed atmosphere means not only a hell of a lot of fun for us, but also for our customers. Bands like Readymade, Sportfreunde Stiller, Virginia Jetzt, Angelika Express, Blackmail, Donots, Silber, Scumbucket, Morph or producers and companies like Ronald Prent, BMG/Sony, Motor, NuclearBlast, SAT1, SWR, Randstad Germany etc. to name just a few.
As you will see, a constantly growing recording studio with professional staff, laid out and converted to give our customers the most possible uptodate and comfortable recording adventure. Dedicated to the betterment of sound!
