About Me

Portland Native Eric Parker has music that is as down to earth as the city he grew up in. Parker started out playing in several bands throughout high school, but now performing as a solo singer songwriter, he has found his own mix of acoustic pop music.
Eric has an engaging set of music that has often been compared to the music of John Mayer as well as Jack Johnson. His laid-back feel combined with catchy pop melodies has permitted him to play venues across the northwest. Now living in Nashville, he has decided to continue his solo career by pursuing a fulltime music career.
Eric Parker released an Independent, self-engineered and self produced EP in the summer of 2006, after working with Former drummer for forefront band The Normals, Mark Wheeler. Previous to this Eric had worked with northwest engineer and producer K IV.
"My hope for my music is that it is relevant and honest," explains Eric Parker. Unafraid to express his thoughts and fears in life through his music, he invites listeners to grab a cup of coffee and relax.
Eric Supports many organizations such as: Invisible Children, IJM (international Justice Mission), To Write Love On Her Arms, and XXXChurch.com.
