About Me

random truisms from Ms. Holzer...abstraction is a type of decadence. animalism is perfectly healthy. at times inactivity is preferable to mindless functioning. bad intentions can yield good results. being judgmental is a sign of life. being sure of yourself means you're a fool. emotional responses are as valuable as intellectual responses. ideals are replaced by conventional goals at a certain age. myth can make reality more intelligible. dying should be as easy as falling off a log.Oh, and I have cute ears.

My Interests

BOOKS! off-key singing (I think I'm tone deaf), reading, BORINQUEN, learning about music, contemporary art, running, making up stories, reading, cooking, WINE, reading some more, going to great restaurants during off hours, watching ridiculous films, reading everything and anything, sleuthing, scheming, dreaming, traveling, GETTING LOST... oh, and I’m obsessed with cheese.

I'd like to meet:

Playmates, in the most PG sense of the word.

Music:

Have no idea. Schizophrenic Itunes collection.

Movies:

Spanish film, Almodovar, Bunuel, classic melodrama, Bergman, Wes Andrerson, Early Catherine Deneuve (Repulsion, etc...), 70-80s Horror Films, tragic biopics, anything Camp, and Harry Potter movies. Strangely, I haven't seen anything very good lately.

Television:

I watch too much TV. Too much, I tell you!

Books:

I love to read. I prefer literature, but lately I have been reading some great memoirs. I don't like picking favorites, but if I had to, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Swann's Way, Austerlitz, White Teeth, and The Corrections would always be on the list. That, and all the Ramona books I read when I was 9.

Heroes:

Ive y Paco.
