SLIGHTLY DRAWN
Slightly Drawn is the solo-acoustic project of singer/songwriter Spencer Knox. Knox performs solo or with a band, depending on which city he is visiting. Though the line-up for the performances may change, the name of the project, Slightly Drawn, and Spencer Knox are the only constant. Slightly Drawn's first 5-song EP, Trapped Inside A Picture Frame, was self-produced and released May 2005. The CD has a raw emotional quality that will draw you in and tear away at the ugliness of the world. The EP was recorded in a small bedroom apartment somewhere in North Reno, Nevada.
Spencer Knox places twice in 2005 in the VH1 "Song of The Year" Contest and has only self-released 5 songs.
Slightly Drawn is a Finalist in VH1's 2005 "Song of The Year" Contest. for the song "Tomorrow" written by Spencer Knox (Judges included Norah Jones, Jon Bon Jovi, Jewel, Sheila E, Grammy Award winning artists and producers, Universal Music, and individuals from Rolling Stone Magazine.)
Slightly Drawn is also a RunnerUp in the VH1 "Song of The Year" Contest for the song "Laws of Change" which has not yet been released. (Judges included Norah Jones, Jon Bon Jovi, Jewel, Sheila E, Grammy Award winning artists and producers, Universal Music, and individuals from Rolling Stone Magazine.)
