My interests include both watching and making movies (did you see that one coming?), listening to music (music is my life, I can't live without it - it is one of my major inspirations in terms of film and creativity), I love to read: another source of creativity, and I also love playing videogames...yes, you have derived right: I'm a bit of a geek *hehe*
My favourites in the film industry:
Johnny Depp
Tim Burton
Baz Luhrmann
Mel Gibson
Sean Penn
Nicole Kidman
M. Night Shyamalan
Joaquin Phoenix
...and anyone else who's nice :) I'm friendly!
In terms of music, I'm a bit of a music whore: I'm easy. I can find beauty in all genres of music...and when I say all I definately mean all.
This includes classical, country and 80s stuff.
Don't even get me started on my favourite movies...even after the list I provide you with, I guarantee you that I have left out a hundred more.
I mostly love the typical horror/thriller flick and I also like the occasional comedy (although I can understand how hard comedy is to pull off - either you have it or you don't!).
Also, even though the movie could be completely horrible in terms of plot, I easily fall in love with special effects films and animation - I'm a sucker for anything involving technology.
I'm also a sucker for anything involving psychology and mental disorders/disabilities - it intrigues me. (If I wasn't studying film, I'd be studying psychology - either that or forensic science).
My favourite movies include:
About A Boy
Finding Nemo
Girl, Interrupted
Grease
Harry Potter series
The Lord Of The Rings trilogy
One Hour Photo
The Others
Gus Van Sant's Psycho
Gore Verbinski's The Ring
Baz Lurhmann's Romeo + Juliet
The two Rush Hour films
The two Saw films
Signs
The Sixth Sense
Sleepy Hollow
The 2003 version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Wedding Singer (I also am in love with the soundtrack!)
Both Willy Wonka and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
The Wizard Of Oz
I don't watch much TV so I have very few favourite shows. I'm a massive Friends and Simpsons fan - I can recite millions of lines and have the entire series on DVD (well, what's available for the Simpsons).
Lost is one of the best shows of all time - it's just a big, fat, never-ending film in my eyes: brilliant.
And who could forget the lovable kids of The O.C. - where else can such staged drama happen? (Besides Jerry Springer, that is).
.......OK, OK, I'll admit it. I also love the odd reality TV show....*cringes* (I still believe Vesna should have won Big Brother).
