About Me

Music Playlist at MixPod.com

Music and art are, in my opinion, two of the greatest things in life. To know me is to know this.
I just graduated from UCSD. I majored in biology and minored in Spanish Literature, which pretty much sums up my career goals. I want to be a doctor and help people (cliche?), all while maintaining my artistic side (even more cliche?)
Born in Memphis but have little to no accent after 10 yrs in CA. San Diego will always be my home, I love it so much here. New York City is a close second... I love the sounds of the city... even the vulgar, seemingly annoying, loud ones haha.
Again, I love music... almost everything. Some of my friends say my taste is random but I just think I have a great appreciation for music in general. I never leave home without my IPOD...way more important than my cell phone.
I love to cook. I'm Italian so it's kind of a rule that Italian women should know how to cook... @ least in my family.
I like to paint. My most recent goal is to have my own show which would hopefully lead into a place at a local art festival. Schoolwork makes painting slow, but it's promising and a definite release.
I watch a lot of stand up and try to frequent the comedy clubs.
hmmmm... ok here's the summary: bright lights + big city + music + standup comedy + cooking = a happy me

My Interests

I'd rather look like a pin-up girl from the 40s and 50s than any of today's female sex symbols.

Sometimes I wish i could act like a boy.

Makes you wanna dance... no? haha.  I'll be over it after they play it another 3 million times on the radio... but for now it's a good "blast it loud & annoy the neighbors" song....

a lesson you should have learned in English class

"your" is possessive... ie "That's your problem" "you're" is a contraction for "you are"... ie "You're not very good with English grammar."   I'm sorry, I had to get that off my chest. ...
