About Me

I am a teacher. Feel free to make fun of my name... "Oi, Gardner. Mow me lawn!" is one of my favourites, particularly when it is said in a Norfolk accent.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who can banter about Dumb and Dumber, The Office and Extras. For example if you do not know the correct reply to "What is the Soup de jour?" then you are wasting your time.

Music:

Athlete, Badly Drawn Boy, The Band, The Beach Boys, Beastie Boys, The Beatles, Blocparty, Bluetones, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Coldplay, Faithless, Franz Ferdinand, George Harrison, The Hollies, Graham Coxon, Greenday, John Lennon, Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian, Keane, Killers, Kings of Leon, Kinks, The Magic Numbers, Paul McCartney, Pulp, Queen, Queens of Stoneage, Radiohead, Razorlight, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rufus Wainwright, Snowpatrol, The Strokes, Stevie Wonder, Super Furry Animals, Supergrass, White Stripes, Zutons

Movies:

Dumb and Dumber is probably my favourite comedy.City of God and Amele are the only two non-English speaking films I have seen and they were both very good.28 Days Later is very good for the product placement alone. The Truman Show - Excellent. The Shawshank Redemption / The Green Mile / Stand By Me - Very good Stephen King adaptations.Quite like Tom Hanks as an actor.Milla Jovovich is very attractive as is Audey Tautou. Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's is fit.

Television:

Neighbours, Quantum Leap, The Office, Extras, Smallville, Deal or no Deal with Noel Edmonds, The Simpsons, 24, Garth Merenghi's Dark Place, Question of Sport, Top Gear, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Film 2006, TOPT2

Books:

Trying to get into Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman but it is a bit slow moving at the mo. I am up to date with the Harry Potter series and have recently read The Da Vinci Code which was good. I very much enjoyed The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time.Other books I have enjoyed are:Getting Rid of Mr Kitchen By Charlie Higson American Psycho By Brett Easton-Ellis The Beach By Alex Garland Revolution in the Head

Heroes:

How pretentious.

Is Chris Martin turning into Henry Ramsay AKA Craig Mclachlan?

I saw The Brits last night and Chris' new hair do certainly bares a remeblance to our favourite Aussie soap / music star. What do you think?
