About Me

I like to write. But writing doesn't like me. Its not something that burns within me. I know people that have "the burning within" and it makes me want to kick them in the upper hamstring while screaming, "Write a poem about this B$&*%!" Its not that i don't like them. Far from it, I envy them. I envy them with a black brooding form of envy. I want to burn from within! I want a muse that screams in my ear. The one I have is broken. It sucks. It runs around making me chase it for hours all the while churning out unreadable crap that is the opposite of what people call entertaining. I have although, come to terms with my general inability to write. This my friends is why writers invented booze. It's not that sub par writers wanted to drink it, although some did drink in abundance (Hemmingway). It's that they knew if the masses altered their minds, they may favor reading more. Thus in turn, the writers wouldn't have to get real jobs, and they could walk around home in their underware all day. But I, I have not mastered the craft. So I put on pants go to my crap job. And I hope, hope that one day I catch that damn muse and make her my slave. Or maybe I can create a mind altering substance that makes people want to read my junk... PUT YOUR ABOUT ME SECTION HERE! Errant Storm

All around me a storm misses.  The bored weathermen and NPR DJs spent hours worrying and warning.  For what?  Lighting, some thunder, and the occasional fat raindrop splashing onto othe...

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Frustration

Christian liberty is a funny thing. It seems that people have interpreted Paul to say that the closer you get to Christ the more conservative you're supposed to be. "What Would Jesus Do?" Oh yeah, ...
