"Saturday was to raise the bar even higher with Feluka opening with their dub/reggae fusion. Their sound instantly suggested the Jazz World Stage and their unique Moroccan/French melody and rhythm was strengthened by their mad musician front man. It was the type of performance that makes you want to fast forward life until June to see how this exuberant performance translates onto the big stage."

"...perhaps the best live act I've heard from Leeds for a long time...Quite unique and truly inspiring!"
Cat's Face Productions, Hyde Park Heat newsletter
Feluka formed in 2003 and began gigging locally in Leeds and later branched out to make appearances at festivals all around the UK, as well as performing for BBC Radio. We recently made our first TV appearance and received press exposure for the first time following our victory at the 2007 Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent competition.
We play dub reggae albeit heavily influenced by North African Raï, latin, blues and most other things you'd care to mention, creating an instantly danceable mélange of pure, unadulterated groove.
