I'm Going to Paris!

About Me

I'm a displaced Canadian, living in what must be the rainiest place in the world, outside of Vancouver. ;) Not really...it just feels like it when a bicycle is your main mode of transportation.I just graduated from SFU and am now currently living in Lund (just across the bridge from Copenhagen) working on My Masters in International Development . I'm here for a year and am soon to depart for Africa for my field work...well soon as in Fall 2007. Until that I'm here...exploring Europe from my Scandinavian Base.I love it. I'm 2 hours away from any number of countries. It's fantastic!I also have the most amazing boyfriend in the world who is taking me to Paris for my Christmas present!

The Fates are Cruel

The Fates are Cruel.  No honestly really they are.  I am beginning to assume they derive pleasure in watching two people meet, knowing oh to well that one of them is bound for some crazy Nor...

What? Your not doing it for a 'him'?

My brother graduated from high school on Sunday, and during the reception I was given the chance to talk to an old teacher of mine.  Upon telling him about my move to Sweden, his first response w...

There is no excuse for ignorance, its a cover for laziness

Our lack of compassion for those beyond our eyes is astounding.  Our failure to care about those whom the cameras do not exploit is nonsensical.  In the last few months the world has waited ...

Procrastination, Voyeurism and Attention
