How I made my profile:
I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace editor . Awesome Ty! Just wants to make music, and somehow pay the rent doing so. It all started several years ago, when Ty, after growing tired of doing drugs and playing video games, decided to put his under utilized free time into something more constructive; making shitty hip hop beats on the old PC he had, using pirated sequencing software. The quality of the beats from jump street was poor, and arrangements were incorrectly structured and confusing. He had only the stock instruments and sounds, and had practically no prior knowledge or experience in creating music.Nonetheless, an intense love for music prevailed and blinded Ty to the fact that his beats back then were garbage. Shortly this all occurred, Ty while bored at work one day, took it upon himself to begin writing lyrics that he apparently intended to rap over them. Once again,…Ty’s rhymes back then were not exactly….naw, fuck that they were fresh as fuck. Anyway, this began slow walk down a long dark alley known as the music business. As Ty’s musical savvy grew, the overall product continued to better. Ty released a few tracks here and there to anyone that would hear them, and sought advice from anyone who would give it, soon he began doing shows regularly and developing a fan base.He signed with indie-label Death Squad Productions based out of Orange County and dropped his first official “The Neverending Story” in 2006, the album while only released in one-run, was well received and considered over-all to be a good rookie effort. Awesome Ty!, or Awesomness Prime, as he frequently refers to himself as, blends a mix of humor, every day problems and struggles, and past life experiences in his lyrics, to create music that others can not only relate to, but also make light of. Ty produces and engineers nearly all of his tracks, and makes beats for himself and other artists that share the vision of creating music that is pure and genuine. With a solid local fan behind him on California’s central coast, Ty continues do more and more shows and appearances, and in August on 2008, Awesome Ty released a summer themed EP titled “The Heatwave”, which features the popular title track as well as a remake of Sublime’s classic “Doin’ Time”.Ty is scheduled to release his highly anticipated and much delayed sophomore album “Arrhythmia” on February 19th 2009. The album features collabs platinum recording artist Bizarre from D12, The 40OZ. Freaks, Psykotik, and others, and is a new step in the progress Ty has made. While performing frequently in California, Ty has opened for Boot Camp Click, Traxamillion, Turf Talk and shared the stage with countless other local acts, but always stands out for his energetic, no-nonsense live performances and impromptu antics. Such shows have earned Ty a good reputation locally and earned the respect of hip-hop fans and performers alike.Some odd rumors about Awesome Ty! Have been circulating for some time. Although he denies it in interviews, and there is no actual “evidence”, Ty is rumored to have super powers, and to have directed “The Goonies”. There are also claims of Ty, ghostwritten most of The Beatles catalog, but that would directly contradict him being born in 1985. Some say that Awesome Ty!, or Jack Bandit as he will tell you his name is if you let him, is responsible for Cuban Missile Crisis of the 60’s, or creator of Bagel Bites. These are all just rumors.
