Culture Clash

Mondays 7-8pm on Melbourne's PBS-FM 106.7

About Me

Culture Clash is a radio show on Melbourne's 3PBS-FM. Hosted by Lisa Palermo who's been doing music shows on PBS for longer than anyone cares to remember, this latest incarnation of her radio thing is not just a music show, it's more of a thing about the culture of music.

But Culture Clash would be nothing without its regular contributors - bringing news and reviews on dvd/film, books, magazines, telly, multi-media, travel, food, live music, industry news and more. Daniel Gregson reports on gigs once a fortnight (check out X-Ray Style - myspace.com/smokinboots), Paul Gonzo Elliott from Polyester Books flogs his latest stock and whatever other literature, music or conferences about mind alteration that he fancies (see myspace.com/polyesterbooks), Nina Marie Petrik holds the whole thing together techincally and productionally speaking, as well as providing dvd and movie reviews once a month or so (and you can hear her on PBS too - Monday mornings between 9am and 11am on Recovery), Craig May (Beyond The Pale, Tuesdays 5-7pm on PBS) reviews and runs down music mags, dvds and books, and Systa BB drops in as often as she can with a meaty beaty music book review. Plus we are graced with occasional visits from Jacob Marshall (Left Of The Dial Mondays 10-midnight on PBS), and gal-about-town Jenni Crowley.

Plus Culture Clash has special guests each week who are musicians, producers, directors, labels, promoters, publicists, programmers, festival organisers ... and much, much more.

Keep your eye on this page to see what's coming up or what you've missed.

Mondays 7-8pm on the only music station that matters, PBS-FM.
