WODU went on air at Old Dominion's Webb Center around 1972. Still carrier current to this day, and simulcasting online (got a real player?) - this myspace page has been created for alumni, listeners, current DJs, and the bands/labels/musicians spun on WODU.In the second half of the 80s, WODU staff were able to gain access to people like The Minutemen (SST), Dave Wakeling/General Public and Trent Reznor/NIN for extensive interviews. Some local bands who visited WODU include Starving Artists, Dead Aim, At War, and Honor Role from Richmond. We were also fortunate to have drop-ins from John Stabb/Government Issue as well as NJ's The Undead. Please click the link on the left hand side for more info on the Norfolk VA alternative/punk scene. And, visit woduradio dot com to check out the latest goings on in the Webb Center on 1630 AM.....better known as WODU!
