Where do I begin... Well, I been doin this thang for a while now. I started writing poetry back in middle school. I found it as a good way to hit on females. By 7th and 8th grade me and my boy Zak (Snowyte) sped it up a lil bit and started writin rap songs. It wasn't all that good, but u gotta start somewhere.Me and Snowyte stayed at it and just kept on writin. Eventually the skills just kept gettin better.
I dropped out of school after the 10th grade. Wasn't the smartest move I had ever made. I went to Camp Shelby, Youth Challenge Program. Military school bout 5 miles south of Hattiesburg. Stayed there on base for bout 6 months. The whole time I was up there I stayed focused and kept writin. A lot of my platoon members backed me up, some said I wasn't gone get anywhere tryin to rap. Graduated December of '02. I was back at it.
One night, probably early Feb. of '03, I met J-Reese (also known as Jonathan Hopkins aka Warrior Week-End). This right here was the beginning of somethin. I heard dude was rippin it up in freestyle battles at school and I needed a partner. My boy Nate Thumm (rest in peace) at the time wasn't too focused on rappin as much as he was focused on producin for us. Me and Reese clicked off top. Dude was, and still is, a BEAST!!! We started writing as soon as we met.
Snowyte, J-Reese, and myself started workin on a mixtape. The only reason we did a mixtape was because the computer I had at the time wasn't really capable of makin beats. So we had to work with what we had. The mixtape was just handed out to our homeboys. We handed them out at a few parades. We did this just to get our name out there. Everybody loved it. MOB OUT VOLUME 1: FOR THE TEAM. It starred Gemeni, J-Reese, Snowyte, J Nasty, J-Dub, Party Joe. People still jam it to this day.
2003-2005 I worked with Lil Rob Henry aka Dizasta with Money Time Records. I leaked a mixtape out with a lot of work I did with Rob. Dude is amamizing with music all around. Ya'll be on the look out for him. He's on my top friend's list. We had features on the album from: Dizasta, Dub-G, Sizzle, Party Joe, Jay See, Warrior Week-End, Dank, Legacy, and also Sam Harrison who is the guitarist for Kiss The Cop, local rock band from Long Beach. Ya'll be on the look out for them.
Im now rollin with Coastliner Productions with my man Co. Da. aka Courtney Finch. Dude is sick with his prduction skills. Holla if ya'll need some beats. We are currently workin on 3 different projects. Bottom Line is about complete. YA'LL GET READY!! Coast Wide Hysteria will probably drop right before it. Exective producers on the both projects: Co. Da. My album features: Lil Witness (on my top friends, check him out, Snowyte who his also with coastliner, Wood coastliner too, Co. Da., Warrior Weekend and got a few more suprises). Coast Wide Hystria stars Co. Da., Wood, Snowyte, Gemeni and with features from Flat Lyne Ent., Warrior Weekend, Mr. Mouthpeice and more. Get ready... guys layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com
