Yes I do: I sing a bit and also I've been able to change the meaning of the term 'guitar playing' in such a way as to include myself. Jim helped me with that... The Beatles- Tom Waites- Santanna- lots and lots of others
With her knees upon the glove compartmentshe took out her barrettesand her hair spilled out like root beerand she popped her gum and arched her back…-T. Waites Movies- yes. I've made several short ones. My son, Louis, and I have two favorites: One is called "Killing Mean Daddy" and tells the short story of how a boy (Louis Henry) hates and kills his Father (Tom Henry). There's a song in it that is the main deal, it's me singing but speeded up and given to Louis's consciousness. It's a hoot. Father's don't like it nearly as much as Mother's do, I thought was interesting enough to mention... obviously. -We also like the one called "Face down dead in the Pool" Which tells the tale of a freakish summer accident concerning a father and son... it's probably not what you're thinking; it's actually the story of how a father and son die in the pool. Despite it's severely unfunny premise it is actually quite funny- very short but very funny. Stacey might have been considered for the Oscar, 'Best Actress in Supporting Role,' for her turn as 'The Horrified Mother/ Wife."
Yes, I have two. Both of them have DVD and VHS built in- one in the living room and one in my room (I *never* watch that one- the one in my room.) I watch very little tv, though Racheal Ray of the food network is a favorite. I like to watch movies sometimes and I find the Television a handy way to do that... of course I have computers as well so our movie watching capacity, here at the old Henry abode, is none too shabby...............
Yes. Love books. Read a lot of them. Contrary to popular belief I can read. Favorite? That's tough but I'll go with 'The Stand'. I can and do make arguments for several others. Books: Of Mice and Men, The Stand; Anything by Heinlein, Donaldson, Rice or Zelazny. Tolstoy... Tim stole my copy. Bring it home! Man; could that Ruskie write.
My hero is x-boy. My Heroes are those people that spend time creating anything new and good. It is to those people that I tip my proverbial hat. I also admire the men and women that hold the Little Ceasar's pizza signs, and anyone else that has a suckier job than I. I also admire people that can tell a story though words or art or music... I guess that sort of goes with creating... I really admire a person that can tell a story and use all three of those media.
