Chase Samuel

I have so many diverse interests and most I pursue enthusiastically... there's very little I don't like. I am currently in love with Muay Thai, American kickboxing, and staying fit, but my main squeeze is and has always been music. I listen to pretty much anything you play for me... I love to play Jazz, Funk, Reggae, Motown, Soul, Blues, Folk, Alternative and Modern Rock on my guitar whenever I get free time (relatively infrequent unfortunately). I love fashion... I even have a couple sketchbooks full of my own original clothing and accessory designs (I'd love to release a line or two as a side project later on in life). I have had a pretty avid business sense since as far back as I can remember, selling my snacks at recess in the early grades, and currently work in the business sector. I studied psychology at the University of Toronto, and attended law school soon thereafter. I LOVE sports, Hockey, Football and Basketball especially, and have been known to drop a pretty penny on a game here and there. I enjoy playing poker and blackjack, and while I'm not a WSOP quality player just yet.. it's only a matter of time. I am a very creative and artistic person, but among all art forms (excluding music which I don't even concider art it's more of a dialect of speech for me) I feel film is the most compelling. My family has a rich history in Film with my cousin producing such films as "Gone With the Wind" and the original "King Kong," and regularly working with film notables, one being Alfred Hitchcock. I plan on working with film closely throughout my career as a corporate, intellectual property, and entertainment lawyer and hope one day to dabble in the more artistic side... hell maybe even finance a few here and there! I love having fun with close friends and family, both of which mean a lot to me, whether it be going to concerts/sporting events, hangin around being bums, socializing at Toronto's premier niteclubs and lounges or engaging in some unmentionables. Good people, good times... it's what life's about!
