About Me

If there's one thing I do well, it's stretch myself thin. To wit:
Somehow or another, I turned a lifelong love of comic books into a modest career writing them for fun and profit. Before you ask, no I do not draw them. Go here to find out what I'm currently working on.
I also help run an independent pop culture entertainment website called Randomville . Writing and editing. All fun, no profit.
I tend bar to pay the mortgage, but it's not my lifelong passion or anything. Are you aware that bartenders and servers typically make $2.13 on the hour and rarely receive paychecks, paid sick time, holiday pay, or medical benefits? Now you are.
Finally, after years of trying and failing, I've given up all hope of becoming a rock star. I gave it a long and storied go, but it wasn't meant to be. It's almost as fun, though, belting out obscure 80s hair metal tunes and spinning the latest club beats for drunkards and music fans. Good thing I started my own business...
My family means more to me than any of that, though. Just got married in March '07 to my five-year-old daughter's mama. The pair of 'em are my heart and soul, and alternate roles daily.
