Yes It Was A Very French Deja-Vu-ish Sort Of Thing

About Me

"Youth has its hour of glory... but too often it's only a morning glory, the flower that fades before the sun is very high." -RHH in Morning Glory (1933)"My hose has kinks in it!" "What?!?" "I have a very kinky hose!" "WOW! That sounds wrong on so many levels." "But it's true....on so many levels."This profile was edited with MySpace Profile Editor MySpace Profile EditorMe + Movies = Happy---need I say more? My AIM is hellz00angel
You are Betty Grable
The ulitmate girl next door
You're the perfect girl for most guys
Pretty yet approachable. Beautiful yet real. What Famous Pinup Are You?
Your Famous Movie Kiss is from Spiderman
"I have always been standing in your doorway. Isn't it about time somebody saved your life?" What Famous Movie Kiss Are You?
You are Totally Realistic
"Romance" means you're about to roll your eyes
Seriously, you can do without the sap or drama
Save it for someone who has nothing really going on in their relationship
For you, love is real - and easily integrated into your life
You don't need candles, flowers, or chocolates to know he's the one
Just some stimulating conversation... and maybe a great smile. Are You a Romantic or Realistic?
You Are Ready to Get Married
You've done more than dream about the dress and the honeymoon
In fact, you spend a good deal of your time thinking about what makes a relationship work
And from your answers, it looks like you have the skills to say "I Do" and mean it
You've dated enough, learned your fair share, and you're ready to settle down. Are You Ready To Get Married?

My Interests

Life--- FILMS, THEATER, philosophy, politics, sociology, music, anthropology, anything really. I'm a gatherer of information. I love the most random things at the most random times, and I'm always interested in learning something new.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone...I'll give anyone chance...if we end up being compatible cool, if not oh well.

Music:

A lil bit o everythin. And I mean EVERYTHING! I adore old showtunes, rap, hip hop, opera, jazz, blues, world music, some punk, some heavy metal, rock, rock & roll, and yes even a lil country and folk...

Movies:

My favorite era: the 1930's and 40's, I love every genre, but not necessarily every movie. I'd go on and on for hours or even years but I don't want to bore y'all so if you really want to know what I like just as me.

Television:

Well, lots of things: as I like old movies I also like old tv shows: I Love Lucy, Gunsmoke, Dick Van Dyke, Jack Benny...so many more. Then of course there are newer things: Becker, O.C. Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Fat Actress, Extras (what film buff wouldn't love a look into an struggling actor's world), Tyra... And then some random: the Masterpiece Theater, stuff on the Health, Discovery and Science channels and PBS and TCM are must haves... lol.

Books:

I love old children's classics, Shakespeare, plays (noel coward, arthur miller etc), virginia woolf, faulkner, slaughterhouse five, dr. spock, adele davis, steinbeck, lacan, wharton, freud, booth tarkington, and so on and so forth...

Heroes:

Katharine Hepburn (my name sake), Whoopi Goldberg, Ginger Rogers, Eleanor Powell, Lucille Ball and so many other of the film goddesses. Then of course my heros that I am grateful to actually know: my mom and sisters, my aunts Tatie and Auntie, Lady Maddie, Sir Jack, Lady Sara, and others (you know who you are).
