About Me

I'm kinda quirky and a bit of a dork at times, but I like to have fun and I love to laugh. I love creativity, art, music. I love to hike, love the outdoors. I fancy myself a lady, and I'm a bit old fashioned with some things like that. I work as a designer/administrative/orginizational person at my church full time, and on the side I have my own business doing freelance graphic design...so if you know of anyone who needs a designer.... ;) I believe the Bible is true, and that God is real. I'm a Christian, although I don't try to follow the sterotypes. I'm not fond of boxes--social or otherwise--and I don't like being forced to fit in any, although I'm quite fond of hiding behind and climbing on top of them. :)

You'll probably find me more on Flickr:

My Interests

God, art, music, people, creativity, mountains, flowers, the outdoors, laughter, stories, challenges, wine or chai tea with a good conversation and maybe a game of chess, hiking, exploring, pictures, dancing for fun, singing, seeing a spark in a person's eye.

I'd like to meet:

People with a soul, interests, with an imagination, people who are not afraid of the boundaries of reality whether they ignore them completely or deliberately walk all over them.

Music:

I love all types... rock, jazz, you name it, except maybe country (makes me twitch). One of my absolute favorite things to do is listen to a band or someone play, particularly in a smaller setting or just a rehearsal. That's the best.

Here's a random music video I'm in. A friend of mine said she saw it on VH1 recently:
Codeseven - "All the Best Dreams"

Movies:

Favorites include: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Garden State, Amelie, SLC Punk, Matrix, Braveheart, The Princess Bride

Television:

I don't even own a TV, and don't miss it, except for the occasional movie.

Books:

Chronicles of Narnia, the Bible, Captivating... I've been making a point of reading more lately. I miss it. Used to read all the time.

My Blog

:)

Reason to smile: p.s. Free iced coffee at Dunkin' Donuts tomorrow :-D...

Over the past several months I have becoming painfully aware of the fact that really the only creative outlet I have is my photography, which I love. But it's different. I haven't been in any theatric...

anybody need a designer? :)

I finally escaped from TV Guide, and am on my own again, looking for jobs. Actually, that's pretty much all I've been doing the past two weeks, aside from the occasional "break" to rehearse for a play...
