About Me

i'm a junior at Walla Walla College. i consider myself pretty lucky. i have a great family and i go to a good school with awesome friends. God has really blessed me. i really enjoy music, both playing music and listening to it. Mostly playing it though. i like singing alot. For some reason i don't feel quite right unless i'm wearing a rubber band on my wrist. i also wear flip-flops more often than i should. Above it all i'm a Christian, at least i try to be one, cuz everything i have was given to me by God. If He doesn't deserve my devotion, i don't know what does.

My Interests

I love rock climbing, although my job makes it hard for me to do much of it these days. i love music, both making it and listening to it. i love contra dancing, and some other dancing is also fun, like swing dancing. i love my major (theology) because talking about the bible is about the coolest thing a person can do in my opinion.

I'd like to meet:

JESUS, also C.S.Lewis and Douglas Adams, even though they're dead, and John Lennon who is also dead. I also think it would be pretty cool to meet Aristotle cuz he could probably help me with my Greek.

Music:

Name pretty much any genre or song and chances are i've been really into it at one time or another. If i don't like something now, ask me again in a month or two and it will probably be what i am listening to. My newest musical discovery is Sufjan Stevens. What's not to like about a guy who writes music about states?

Movies:

If it's funny or that makes me think, then it is worth watching. otherwise i'll pass.

Television:

Family Guy, Scrubs, Lost, Simpsons, Seinfeld, How I Met Your Mother

Books:

Douglas Adams is the best ever. Even his crappy stuff i've read several times. For a good Christian book i'd really recommend Blue Like Jazz. Oh, another good christian book is the Bible. it's one of those books that keeps getting better the more you read it. for a really fun read try the Bible in Greek.

Heroes:

Jesus. Also that crazy street guy from last year's Warren Miller movie. The one with the headband. Plus that guy at pike's place who played the trumpet with rolled up posters. Basically I really dig people who do their own thing and break stereotypes.
