John dGauss a.k.a. Yassur & Sarid

John dGauss a.k.a. Yassur & Sarid is a Duarte Pereira's project, from Portugal. In 2003, he began producing with professional studio software and hardware. In April of 2004 he finished his first and last album (until now) named “Acids In 1960...Prozac nowadays”. Following a Trip-Hop-Electronic “dubby” line, he remixed the track named "Agora os Dias São Inteiros" from Les Éléphants Terribles, with the vocals and lyrics of Carla Pinho, and a Progressive-Dark-House orientation in songs like "The Woods" and "Agar in Desert", John dGauss refuses however to be limited to a style, and introduces, most of the times, variations that can’t be linked to a specific genre. He has now released Senses, with two tracks, "Ethereal" and "Sense of Taste", and the EP Love Ghosts, in which are included "Aral" and "Asynchronous Dream", in the realms of minimal house/techno.
