i grew up in this little lake community in central florida named windermere. i could take my john boat out when i was 7 and drive through the whole chain (13 lakes) and would maybe see one other boat. i moved away for awhile and came back to find development swept through, changing my quiet spot in florida. so i jumped on the bandwagon and became a developer and a custom home builder. I stay true to the floridian ways by building homes and developing land with old floridian tradition. i got lucky over a year ago and found a little redheaded women that doesn't mind when i take off to go surf and fish all weekend, head down to sebastion inlet all night, go spear fishing on the west coast, get crazy on my ranch during winter bonfires, and more. so i hid a ring in my tackle box, took her to the west coast fishing and asked her to marry me while eating lunch on the crystal river. in october brie and i will be getting married on sanibel island, barefoot, while the sun falls below the gulf of mexico. and of course our dog buddy will be walking down the aisle as my ring bearer. my life has taken me for an adventure so far. i have lived in georgia, south carolina, colorado, california, and costa rica, but i am a floridian and this is my state. so no matter where i lived i always knew i would return. i have been blessed with parents who have been there for me time and time again. without them i have no idea where i would be today. i fought the system hard for years. but i now stand on my own two feet with the wind on my back, taking life one day at a time and making the most of it. who knows where this journey will bring me. its been a crazy ride up to this point and i'm sure the road ahead will be just as crazy. but that's life. without the craziness i would be bored out of my mind. all i know is i am happy today and i know i'll be happy tomorrow.
